Dr. Tanya DePorto is a Board Certified physician in Preventive Medicine and brings over a decade of multi-specialty experience to her aesthetics practice. She is passionate about anti-aging and skin care, not only from an aesthetics perspective but also from functional medicine and nutrition perspectives. She enjoys working with her patients to develop individualized aesthetic plans tailored to their concerns.

Dr. DePorto has an undergraduate degree in Biology from Vancouver Island University. She then completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of British Columbia, followed by a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Calgary studying gut health and the microbiome.

She received her MD from the University of British Columbia. She was a resident physician at Queen’s University, UCLA, and Loma Linda University.  Dr. DePorto also has a Master’s of Public Health.

Her approach to aesthetics is “start low and go slow.” She loves to educate her patients about the science behind beautiful skin, rejuvenation, and anti-aging. Understanding each patient’s individual responses to products and procedures is her goal.

You’ll find Dr. DePorto writing, cooking, hiking, mountain biking, learning to play classical guitar, or caring for her rescue pets with her wonderful husband when she’s not working.
