RHA COLLECTION

As we age, we start to notice fine lines and wrinkles appearing on our faces. But, there’s no need to resort to surgical methods to combat them. The RHA collection of dermal fillers can help treat these signs of aging through a simple, non-surgical procedure with minimal downtime.

WHAT IS RHA?

The RHA collection of dermal fillers is made using hyaluronic acid (HA) that is formulated to closely resemble the natural HA present in our skin. Hyaluronic acid binds with water molecules, similar to a sponge, which helps retain moisture. Usually, younger people have higher HA levels, giving their skin a fresh, supple, youthful appearance. RHA dermal fillers are designed to be flexible enough to adjust to facial movements and durable enough for long-lasting results.

HOW DOES RHA WORK?

RHA dermal fillers work by integrating into your skin to fill in wrinkles and folds or add volume to areas like the lips. Effects of RHA dermal fillers aren’t permanent because the body gradually processes and absorbs the product.

The duration of effect typically can range from six to twelve months and sometimes longer than a year, based on the area that was treated and the specific product used. For example, treatments aimed at smoothing the undereye area may last over a year, while lip filler might diminish in under six months.

Each filler within the RHA collection has unique properties. Your Liquid Beauty specialist will choose the most suitable one based on the treatment area and your aesthetic goals.

HOW CAN RHA PRODUCTS HELP ME?

The RHA collection of fillers can play a pivotal role in your non-surgical rejuvenation of the face. In addition to being an anti-aging solution by diminishing wrinkles, RHA dermal fillers also aid in reestablishing symmetry and balance to facial attributes. They do this by replenishing lost volume, elevating a sagging midface, and reshaping facial support structures. The most popular uses of RHA products are:

  • Softening wrinkles (lipstick lines) around the lips

  • Lip augmentation

  • Softening nasolabial folds (smile lines)

  • Treating superficial wrinkles on the face

  • Adding volume to sunken cheeks

  • Brightening the under-eye area

  • Performing a “nonsurgical facelift”

  • Softening the chin fold

  • Improving acne scars

  • Enhancing the profile

  • Filling in hollow temples

  • Diminishing the marionette lines

HOW IS RHA TREATMENT PERFORMED?

During your consultation with a Liquid Beauty specialist, he/she will carefully evaluate your needs and develop a personalized aesthetic plan. RHA products are administered using a fine needle or cannula. While there’s typically no need for anesthetic numbing cream, it can be provided upon request for added comfort.

what is the difference between RHA and botox?

The primary anti-aging mechanism of action for neuromodulators such as Botox is focused on relaxation of muscle contraction. When muscles contract during a facial expression, a wrinkle or fold is formed. Botox prevents the muscles from contracting, thereby softening wrinkles and preventing new ones from forming. Dermal fillers such as those from the RHA collection play a different role. Whereas neuromodulators act on muscle movement, fillers work by volumizing the face. It is strategically placed to augment, enhance, lift, fill, and reshape.

WHAT IS THE COST OF RHA?

The cost for RHA fillers range from $500-$700, depending on the specific type. Liquid Beauty offers Redensity RHA-1, RHA-2, RHA-3, and RHA-4.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY RHA APPOINTMENT?

Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or fish oil for 2 weeks before treatment, but do not discontinue any medications without your prescribing physician’s approval. Consider taking arnica pills orally for a week before and after your treatment to help minimize bruising.

WHAT ARE THE POST-CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR RHA?

Don’t exercise, go in a sauna or jacuzzi, or do anything to increase circulation for 24 hours after treatment. Wash your face gently with soap and water, but don’t scrub or exfoliate too hard. Avoid facials for one week after the procedure. Do not apply makeup for 8 hours after the procedure.

WHAT IS THE AVERAGE DURATION OF RHA FILLERS?

All the fillers in the RHA collection are approved to last up to 15 months. Factors that influence how long RHA will last include the amount of filler used, history of filler treatments, and lifestyle factors, and amount of daily movement in the treatment area. Areas with a lot of movement such as lips are going to break down faster than areas that don’t move as much, such as temples.

MEET THE RHA COLLECTION

RHA offers a range of fillers, each with unique qualities that make them suitable for specific areas and purposes. Your Liquid Beauty provider will help you choose the ideal product to achieve your desired aesthetic goals during your consultation.

REDENSITY RHA-1

Redensity can be used for correction of superficial perioral lines and wrinkles. This light and flexible filler is specifically designed to be injected into the top layer of the dermis to treat fine lines while still allowing natural expressions and dynamic movements of the mouth.

RHA-2

RHA-2 is designed to integrate seamlessly into the skin. It can be used to soften moderate wrinkles and folds, providing natural and gradual results that enhance facial contours and rejuvenate the overall appearance.

RHA-3

RHA-3 is a more robust filler than RHA-2 and is recommended for deeper wrinkles and folds, providing more significant volume restoration. RHA-3 adapts to facial movements, providing natural-looking results while retaining its structure and resilency.

RHA-4

RHA-4 is the most robust filler in the collection. It is commonly used in areas that have deeper wrinkles and greater volume loss, cheek augmentation, or jawline contouring. The resilience of RHA-4 allows it to effectively soften the appearance of deep wrinkles and enhance facial contours while holding its shape.
